Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Crystal and 1796 restaurants had great food and service even on busy holiday days.

Negative: During the new year everything is closed in the town. The hotel is basically the only place open and the only place to eat and drink. All the restaurants are not open during this time frame. New Year’s Day the Crystal restaurant was closed and the golf course restaurant closed and pro shop closed as well. Spa completely booked leaving very little to do as the only restaurant Tavern has 8 seats at the bar to watch sports. Hotel while historic is still in need of renovation and elevators during our stay there were under repair and guest had to use the service elevator.
