Other recreation includes water-skiing, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, hiking, bicycling, and four wheeling. Only 45 minutes to Baxter State Park and 1 1/2 hours to Arcadia National Park (Bar Harbor).In the Fall enjoy the beautiful foliage as it changes color and Hunters are welcome. Excellent hunting for deer, ducks, bear, moose and turkey. In the winter, snowmobiling, ice-fishing, and hunting.
