Summary: We love Hudson, and used to be there all the time, so this was to be a fond return. We also love the Wick and where it is set. But we really don’t want to be at a wedding venue, where that becomes the focus for the property. We certainly don’t want to be up until 3 AM because of noisy celebrants. But the man at the front desk was very responsive when I called about that. We would also like to think that a slight extension on checkout, from 11 AM until noon, is the reasonable norm. Especially on a Sunday, in a town like Hudson, where not many would be expected to arrive. As it was, we were up for our anniversary, 38th to be exact, but I had to run a class online until noon, as I do every Saturday and Sunday morning. I thought I would be able to do so at the Wick, but I guess I know better moving forward.
