Summary: We didn't know what to expect so we were amazed at how fortunate we were to select Rosecrest for our stay in Kentucky. Beautiful, horse country. Upon our arrival, Lyra gave us a golf cart tour of the area around the guesthouse. We met the horse and learned about the history. Even if you're not a horse lover, Lyra will tell you what you need to know to feel comfortable around the horses - to be safe and to keep them safe. The house is very comfortable. Porches to sit and relax. Quiet. Breakfast was very good - a great start to the day. We adjusted our schedule so that we could visit with the horses before breakfast and before settling in for the night. How could we not love them - the seniors, the 2-day old, the yearlings? As far as the location, we were very satisfied. The beautiful road to Paris was only a few miles. From there, the attractions of Lexington were about 30 minutes away. The Ark Encounter was about an hour away, but we enjoyed sightseeing the whole way. Paris was also a nice town. When we get back to Kentucky, Rosecrest Farm will be our first destination.
