If you decide to stay home, make use of the outdoor fire pit and hammocks, or cook a meal in the fully equipped kitchen before relaxing at our family style farmhouse table. With access to nearby kayaks, rowboats, amazing pools, and recreation courts, and a short walk to the lakefront, you’ll find plenty to do if you decide to explore.
This one story cabin open plan living space features: two cozy sunlit couches by a beautiful fireplace, an eight seater dining table, fully equipped chef’s kitchen and appliances, two queen bedrooms, and a full bathroom. In the spring, summer and fall, enjoy our "three-season” sunroom perfect for reading, boardgames or as an additional sleeping space amongst the trees!. Outside, enjoy the wood burning fire-pit under festive carnival lighting, two hammocks, and picnic table seating.
You will also have access to a washer/dryer and outdoor equipment storage in the basement. If you'd like to bring your dog, send us a message. 4 adults and 3 cars are allowed on the lot.
*** The Hideout is a secured, gated, private community. Short term rental guests are required to register and pay an additional registration fee, which allows you access to the various amenities throughout the duration of your stay. The registration fee is covered by your host.
Application questions will be sent to you via VRBO after your booking is confirmed. The questions include contact and ID information of the primary renter, vehicle information, and the names, ages and addresses of all guests in your rental party. Information must be returned at least 3 business days in advance of your trip, or the community will charge an additional $100 late fee that will NOT be covered by your host.
Upon arrival, guests must check in with the main gate and provide ID and vehicle registration before gaining entry to the community. There, you will be given car permit valid for the duration of your stay.
