The main house, Bullwinkle's Getaway, boasts views of Mount Abram with just under 2000 square feet of living space spread out over three floors, while the newly added apartment that sits atop the garage, Rocky's Retreat, contains approximately 500 square feet of living space. There are three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths in the main house including many of the comforts of home such as Wi-Fi, three flat-screen TVs, mattress toppers, and a full kitchen complete with dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, and KEURIG coffee maker. There is a washer and dryer for use by guests. In addition, Rocky's Retreat is a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment that includes Wi-Fi, a new flat-screen smart TV, mattress toppers, a queen-size pull-out sofa in the living area, and a full kitchen complete with an oven, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.
This is a year-round property to be enjoyed fully each season. You will find downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice skating, and tubing in the winter. Golfing at the Bethel Inn & Country Club course in downtown Bethel is 7.7 miles down the road while the Sunday River Golf Club is just 16 miles away. If you want to kayak/canoe, you can gain access to both North and South ponds just 2 miles down the road at the intersection of Howe Hill Road and Route 126. There are many trailheads to choose from for hiking in this area with trails that wind through the woods providing superb views of the surrounding areas. From June to October, Mt. Abram offers beautifully designed mountain bike trails with amazing views on the Westside of Mt. Abram’s ski slopes.
