The location features old cottage charm but with modern conveniences and without the distractions of telephone and television...sometimes less is more.
The Ivy Cottage is an excellent hub for outdoor adventure. From hiking to amazing biking and river running, this place offers it all.
The cottage is strategically located 15 minutes from Knoebel’s Amusement Resort, with six covered bridges in the local area. There are also several State Parks, Jim Thorpe mountain biking, Rickett's Glen and others in Central Pennsylvania. You can find multiple golf courses in the area. Just 5 miles to the Elysburg gun shoot.
Geisinger Medical center is 10min away.
Bloomsburg Fairgrounds, 20 min away.

All High Season (June- Oct) Daily rates are $125.00 midweek and $150.00 weekends.
Off Season daily rates are $100.00 weeknight and $125.00 weekend.
Hollidays have special rates throughout the year.
There is an Extra charge of $50.00 to use the Hot Tub..
No children allowed in hot tub under the age of 14.
A special refundable deposit will be taken for any group over 4 people when renting the hot tub.
If there are more than 4 people staying, there is an additional $10.00 charge per person.
Indoor hard wood can be delivered for $20 extra.

****This a beautiful, secluded cottage deep in the woods along a creek.
Due to it's remote location, during extreme storms, it's not unusual to lose electrical power. Trees also can knock the public power system out when ground gets overly saturated. Usually the PPL can get it up and running in a couple hours of time.
It IS NOT the owners responsibility to make compensation in any way if the public power goes out.
Also, there will be exposure to insects and animals in this wooded environment.
If there are days of rain that cause any slight flooding,( yard) it is not the owners liability to control nature, it's part of the creekside adventure.
Being that the location is very close to Roaring creek, it places the cottage on the water table. After much rain the ground gets overly saturated and can cause a musty smell inside the cottage when first opening doors, It dissipates after allowing fresh air in.
This is a cottage rental and IS NOT a 24 hour on -call hotel facility.
If these are things that are deal breakers for you, this may NOT be the best rental option.
