Summary: Parents weekend. My flight landed very late in NYC, forcing me to arrive around 3 am. I waited at the front desk for almost two hours, watching the security monitor and Superman on the TV hung in the corner - only chair behind the desk - no one came. I called the only number displayed for the hotel, but it rang the front desk, so I left a voicemail. I slept in my car until 8 am, when I woke to people coming/going. I went in, and the morning desk person wasn't going to let me check in until 3 pm, even as I explained what happened, that I had a room reserved, she refused to believe that I was waiting overnight, and the desk person failed to show up (I reiterated, review your security tape.) She kept pointing to a turned-over manager's contact sign (I'd suggest making that sign permanently visible.) 45 minutes later, exasperated, she called the manager, whom I could overhear, not believing my statement that the front desk was unattended, but allowed me to check in then. The room that the morning desk person gave me (115) didn't have cable or an antenna, so there was no television. I just wanted to sleep. The Saturday evening clerk was the most helpful, exchanging my nonfunctional key, and was shocked by what had happened. If there had been another room somewhere else, I'd have taken it. Admittedly, this was a unique situation, but to completely dismiss a guest who had flown 1,000 miles, rented a car, paid for their room, and then slept in their rental car... that's bad business.

Summary: The staff were very helpful and the room was very spacious. The room decorations were spare, but we were just looking for safe, clean place to stay the night, so the accomodations were perfect for us.

Summary: We have stayed here for each of the last few years for a local family gathering and each stay has been great. Rooms have been clean and well kept. Bathrooms have been clean with towels and the usual amenities. We always come back for a reason, nice simple no-fuss stay.

Summary: Staff is pleasant but the hotel has seen better days. Room was sort of clean, but paint peeling, carpet was dirty. Room smelt a little musty.
Sad to say, I woke up twice in middle of night itching, on arms and neck, discovered bed bugs.
