Summary: Zionab Vacation Homes Unit B is a spacious 2BR/2BA home that is set up with adults in mind. It is the perfect setup for two couples. Children under age 8 are not permitted. The home features two large 12x14 bedrooms, each with a plush, king-size pillowtop mattresses, walk-in closets, and lovely views out the windows. Each bedroom has an independent air conditioning/heating unit as well as a ceiling fan, so you can sleep at the temperature you are most comfortable.
The modern farmhouse decor mixes grays and warm wood tones. It is accented by bold works of art. Cozy custom furnishings are throughout. The open concept living area blends into a well-stocked kitchen that makes creating meals easy while staying connected. We have tried to supply the home with everything you need in order to function comfortably away from your own home. We provide numerous pots, pans, lids and bowls to prepare most dishes. Staples of flour, sugars, oils, common spices and condiments are available. There is a glasstop stove/oven combo and microwave, a large crockpot, food processor for quick prep, and a blender for your frozen favorites. There's also a 12-cup drip coffee pot and an electric water pot for tea.
You will enjoy our beautiful red rock views on the private, unshared patio furnished with both an outdoor dining table and lounge chairs along with a propane BBQ. This is the spot where you'll take in captivating sunrises, sunsets and Kanab's incredibly dark night skies. Don't be surprised if deer pass through or you are visited by a covey of quail.
A 50 gallon, quick recovery hot water heater ensures that everyone can enjoy a long, hot shower at the end of a long day's hike.
Zionab Vacation Homes are a great place to enjoy a working vacation too. Unit B has a dedicated work space in each bedroom and fast, reliable 1GBPS fiber-optic WiFi. When you are ready to relax, a large flat screen TV with ROKU streams dozens of channels in the living room. We offer Amazon Prime as well as a variety of DVD's and an HDMI cable connection for entertainment streamed from your device through the fast 1GBps fiber optic WIFI. There are Red Box Rentals at both of the nearby grocery stores for newer releases.

Zionab Vacation Homes are located in the quaint town of Kanab, Utah. Kanab is an ideal hub location because Zion, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Bryce Canyon, the North Rim, Lake Powell and The Wave are all less than 75 miles away. Though small and intimate, Kanab has BIG conveniences with 30+ places to eat (of which only 4 are chains). There are 2 grocery stores, a Family Dollar general merchandise store, several clothing stores and outdoor outfitters.
Kanab also has a fun night life with several bars, (our favorite being the Buckskin Tavern), two theaters, an active tourism department that hosts numerous events, a great live music scene, art workshops and so much more.
You will have exclusive use of the whole home and private patio/yard. Unit A, also a short term vacation home, is located on the same property. An open breezeway seperates the two units. The only shared part is the driveway. Both units have their own private yards on opposite sides.
The Neighborhood: Zionab is located 1.5 miles from Kanab's city center and less than 75 miles from all of the parks and major area attractions. We are adjacent to a lush, green 9-acre city park in a quiet, friendly, safe neighborhood. Next door to Zionab, on the north, is a non-active, sub-station of the fire department where extra equipment is stored. We have several law enforcement officers that live in our neighborhood. A new elementary school is in the process of being built a block away.
Getting Around:No public transportation available outside of the parks.
Interaction with Guests: We enjoy hosting and are happy to provide information and suggestions about how you might best enjoy our beautiful area. We live just down the road in the event something arises that requires our immediate attention. You can expect to see us on the property regularly.
