The Space:
Dunn Brook Lakehouse is an oasis with access to Fox Lake, where guests can spend days on the water fishing, swimming or relaxing with a view.
The inviting open-concept living, dining and kitchen area is framed by large picture windows that fill the space with natural light and offer breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding forest—great for morning coffee or evening wind-downs.
Designed with a soft, neutral palette and natural textures, the living area features rich leather seating, a vintage trunk-style coffee table and a wood dining table. The space flows seamlessly into a modern kitchen with a mosaic stone tile backsplash and bar seating. NOTE: The fireplace is not currently working as of 10/10. It will be fixed by mid October.
An adjacent screened-in dining porch overlooks the lake and scenery offering a serene atmosphere - perfect for sharing meals with friends, or soaking in the vistas.
The master bedroom features a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower. The first guest bedroom offers two twin beds, while the second guest bedroom presents a king-size bed; both share a bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
For added privacy or quiet time, a separate studio offers a second comfy living space and mini kitchen—perfect for curling up with a good book or enjoying a moment alone.

Getting Around:
Dunn Brook Lakehouse is just 2.5 hours from New York City. A car is essential for getting there and exploring the area. The main access routes are the NY-17 E, Palisades Interstate Pkwy S and NJ-15 S. We strongly recommend a 4x4 or a car with four-wheel drive, especially in winter, to handle snow and gravel roads.
Other Things to Note:
This property does not have a TV. || Guests do not have access to the garage. || Guests have access to a row boat and flocking dock in the lake. || The lake is across a road from the house but guests can park their cars on that road pull off for easiest access besides walking.
