The cottage is tastefully decorated, with new appliances, flooring, cabinets, fixtures, lighting, bathrooms, the large rooms offer plenty of space, the one bedroom has a king size bed, the bathroom is handicap accessible, and space includes a stacked washer and dryer. The cottage sits on a very pleasant and peaceful 7.5 acre lot, this is in a rural area of DeLand so expect dirt roads and a country feel. There is a main home also on the acreage, but spaced a good distance from the cottage; so, privacy is available. Onsite is a small working farm, a few farm animals (4 pigs, 2 goats, chickens, and few horses) so beware they do make noise. We often see deer and wild turkey pass through in the morning and evenings. This is a great place to relax while visiting the DeLand area. Also close to New Smyrna beach (25min), Daytona beach (35 min) and Orlando (1 hour).
