Dine downtown on Main St or cook from your garden to table at home (in season), and then enjoy s'mores at the firepit, under the stars. Don't forget the Caverns, the shops in Luray, and of course, watch Tipper & Russell, Pansy &Petunia (our pekin ducks) swim & preen themselves in the small pond…it's all here, waiting for you. Summary: This was THE PERFECT home base for our mountain vacation. We were close to all the hikes we wanted to do in the Blueridge mountains, plus we were near great biking, horseback riding, the caverns, the river and some great playgrounds. The house was perfect for our large group! It was clean, spacious and comfortable. Our kids loved playing outside and looking at the ducks and cat.
